The See You In Terre Haute Community Plan provides a collective vision and long-term plan to develop a thriving and prosperous city, county, and region in Terre Haute, Vigo County, and West Central Indiana. The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and its Board of Directors, along with key stakeholders in every sector, are working every day to advance the major goals of the plan, halting population decline and reversing the trend of declining per capita personal income.
The work of the Community Plan falls under six pillars: Tourism, Economic Development, Quality of Life, Health & Wellness, Infrastructure, and Talent Attraction/Retention. Funding for projects prioritized in the plan has exceeded $500 million, and every day more activity happens that moves our community forward. The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce constantly evaluates the Community Plan's progress.
Terre Haute-Vigo County has a lot to be proud of since the See You in Terre Haute Community Plan launched in 2019. The community is making tremendous progress across all pillars that will be felt for years to come, including $20 million in READI Grant Funding, the opening of the Terre Haute Convention Center, 170 ribbon cuttings, and much more.
